You are invited to attend the NUJPC (National Union of Journalists-Philippines – Canada Chapter) at OPSEU Wellesley Office – Membership Centre, this coming Saturday, December 10 in celebration of the International Human Rights Day.

We expect journalists from some countries to attend, eg Latin America, Columbia, etc. Also, Global News TV will come to our event to talk to us and gather materials for their TV documentary on HR situation especially about mining by Canadian companies and mining’s environmental damage to the people and the ecosystems.

A group of young musicians will render a song about hope, freedom and solidarity, to be followed by a forum and solidarity messages.

A light snacks/refreshments will be provided.
